EM Series Stereo Microscopes by Meiji Techno

Few manufacturers of stereo microscopes can match Meiji's combination of superb optics, rugged dependability, economical pricing and wide range of accessories offered by Meiji Techno's EM Series Stereo Microscopes. Below are three types of stereo microscopes to fit your budget and application: fixed magnification, turret-type and zoom. For high-end, research-grade stereo microscopy, please look at the CMO-type RZ Series.

EMZ - Zoom Body Stereo Microscopes

Zoom body microscopes are the most flexible as their magnification can be changed much like a zoom on a camera and therefore they can achieve higher magnification than fixed or turrets.

Because of their flexibility, zoom bodies can be used in every possible field of work from looking at moon rocks to insects and everything else in between.

Also available in trinocular models for cameras, the EMZ is Meiji's most popular product line.

Turret body microscopes are useful when rough work can be performed in one magnification, let's say 10x and then the higher setting for finish and inspection like 20x or 30x.

Turret bodies are inexpensive and are also available with a third tube or phototube. Turret binocular and turret trinocular are perfect for assembly work, inspection and other low magnification work.

EMF - Fixed Body Stereo Microscopes

Fixed magnification microscopes are perfect when work can be performed in one magnification usually low power like 5x, 10x, or 20x.

Fixed bodies are the least expensive and are perfect for assembly work, inspection and other low magnification work.

Features and Benefits EM Series Microscopes

Superb Japanese Quality Optics
Multi-coated optical components, free from chromatic and spherical aberration, provide crystal-clear, high resolution images. The Greenough optical design provides superior erect, un-reversed, stereoscopic images rich in contrast, brightness, and correct in color. Excellent depth of field and flatness of image are also characteristic of the EM Series.

Rugged Dependablity
All-metal aluminum alloy microscope bodies and components with chemical-resistant finishes guarantee stability and rugged dependability for a lifetime of day-in and day-out use. Superior craftsmanship with quality components and materials result in long-lasting, high-performance microscopes.

Ergonomic Design
All EM Series stereo microscope bodies feature a compact, lightweight design. Each model has adjustable diopter tubes and variable interpupillary distance. Observation tubes are inclined at 45°, 60°, or 90° for convenient, fatigue-free viewing in any application. A range of fixed or tilting focusing blocks are also available to mount the microscope body onto existing OEM equipment.

Modular Flexibility
EM Series microscopes are tailored to fit the needs of each and every customer. Modular design enables the user to engineer his or her own custom solution for virtually any application by selecting components from the widest range of stereo bodies, stands, eyepieces, supplementary lenses, illuminators and accessories available in the microscope industry today.
